Direct or retailer: how to choose

Buying direct is the default. New colorways sell out at the brand's own shop first, limited drops often never reach retailers, and the brand keeps the full margin. The catch is shipping: ordering one kendama each from three brands means paying shipping three times, and international orders can add customs fees on top.

That's where retailers earn their keep. If you're in Europe, a shop like Kendama Senses or The Joker House ships from inside the EU or UK, so a KROM, a Sweets, and an Ozora can arrive in one box with no customs bill. Same logic in Australia with Kendama Australia, and in the US with Kendama Depot or YoYoSam.

Two practical tips. First, "in stock" changes fast in kendama: popular drops sell out in hours, so if you see the one you want, that's the moment. Second, prices differ by region for the same model once shipping and currency come in, so compare the landed cost, not the sticker.
